Housatonic Valley River Trail RC&D Project

The trail for the Housatonic Valley River Trail Project is now officially open.  The starting point -- located on Eagle Road, in Danbury -- is complete with ramp, landscaping, signs, and trail guides.

Several miles downstream, Eagle Scouts have installed log steps along the bank, which lead up to a bird sanctuary.

The survey and design has been completed and permits are currently being sought for the installation of an access ramp on Young's Field Road, in New Milford.
